Brief
This was an analogue-based project. Every part of the process involved thorough analysis of the given subject; high crafting skill; and accuracy in measurement. Every part of the process was mainly relying on handcraft, from sketching concepts to finalizing the final design.
I was given a typeface, Futura, to work with. My task was to alter the original typeface and make it my own. However unique features of the given typeface must also remain in the new design.
Design Concept
The inspiration and influence were drawn from my heritage - Thai. Thenglish is a marriage between Thai and English alphabets.
